Government of Nepal approved its first tourism master plan in 1978 and given the changes in the country over the past 3 years, since the end of internal conflct the Government wants to revise and renew the plan.  As a first step towards such a revised plan the UNWTO and Nepal Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Civil Aviation appointed The Journey to conduct a scoping mission and to draft a comprehensive reference document towards a revised national tourism plan.  The scoping document is based on inputs obtained during a two-week scoping mission followed by in-depth desk reseach and analysis.  It includes an identification of key issues to be addressed, objectives, description of tasks, costs and job descriptions of a range of experts to be contracted
